What do you think Guys Link Popularity is Directly Proportional to number of BackLinks?

Generally more back links = more popularity, so yeah I think it is pretty proportional. Not to say that each search engine has the same proportions (they are probably all different, but similar). I think they all judge number of backlinks when scoring site popularity, at least a little.

I also think so because all link popularity tools in the market works based on number of back links

I think Link Popularity is not only a proportional to number of back links but also the Quality and Relevancy of website where your link is added.
