In a bid to expand its reach on various social media platforms, Nasa has launched its official account on Tumblr that will give users a "regular dose of space" in a blog-like format through text, photos, videos and more. The inaugural post showcases the incredible image of the "dark side" of the Moon with Earth in the background. The Nasa Tumblr profile will share information, images and video about the agency's missions of exploration and discovery, the US space agency said in a statement.
