We did seo work for one of our client website . he is asking question like " i nearly getting 50% traffic from search engines .Is it good? "

That is a good percentage. How ever make the conversions cross 50 %

The conversion always need to meet higher percentages. if the keyword he focus is of great demand and he is getting only 20 % of the visitors from Search engine, the SEO need to work on more SE Optimizations on page as well as offpage to make it cross 50 and much higher. I know many websites that use to get more than 80% of the hits from Search Engines alone. If you work well, you can do it

Well...Before providing the suggestion, I would like to make certain things pretty clear. Initially, the client has not specified how much traffic he is getting. Lets say, if he is getting 100 visitors per day, getting 50% traffic from search engines would be 50 visitors. If the total visitors visiting the website is low and 50% traffic generation from search engines at this visitors rate is not good. On the other hand, if the client is receiving 500 -1000 visitors a day and 50% of the traffic is being generated from the Search Engines, it is good.

Generating traffic through Search Engines is a good sign for getting more leads. This would make the website expose well and reach maximum number of visitors online.
