Google has marked the Women’s World Cup final with a new Google Doodle on the search engine’s homepage. The doodle is arranged in the blue, red, orange and green of the Canada 2015 logo and depicts female players and fans experiencing the highs of the tournament.One picture shows two players, possibly on opposing sides, embracing; two others show goal celebrations; another shows three fans regaled with a scarf, flag and vuvuzela respectively. Foremost sits an image of a football sitting inside a trophy – an analogue of the World Cup trophy itself – framed by a large red maple leaf.
