Google has introduced Google Play prepaid vouchers for the Indian market. The Google Play prepaid vouchers, also known as Google Play Gift Cards elsewhere in the world, can be used to purchase digital content such as apps, games, in-app purchases, and ebooks, apart from rent or buy movies on the Google Play store. The Google Play prepaid vouchers will be available in three options: Rs. 500, Rs. 1,000, and Rs. 1,500. The company has announced that over the coming weeks prepaid vouchers will be available at select Vijay Sales and Spice Hotspot stores in Delhi NCR, Mumbai, Pune, Hyderabad, Bengaluru, Kolkata, and Jaipur. Redemption begins from Tuesday however.
