Is facebook safe for teen agers

A facebook is most viewed site of internet.but now a dayz some users missused a facebook.which creates a problem to all.
why dont the users understand the policies and procedure of it.
The teen agers are so much excited by using it ,but they dont understand the real meaning of it.
They used and chat with the unknown peoples also ,which will create the problems to them...
My questions arises for the all viewers:-
Is it safe for teen agers.
Should parents allow the teen agers to use it,should facebook provides the security more .
viewers should be alert and make sure that there ID is safe.

ya i think it is not a secured site bcoz any one can make their account with a different name and also paste anyones picture there.there are some terms and conditions which a user have to follow if the person want to create their account.and i'll also want to tell u that facebook account is not permanentely deleted it can be deactivate and can be activated anytime.parents should keep their eyes on children when they are using these sites .

Yap Am also agree with you both because am also love to use this site and i don't think there is any kind of problem for teen agers.

Facebook is very popular web sites. But It is not secure site. Because hackers can hack the password.It is not secure for teen agers. everyone is make their account in different names and use the id. The hackers can hack id to another person. Parents should full responsible for their children.
